Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18, 1967) is an American actress producer, writer, and actress. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were just a few of her roles in films. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) as well as other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science Bello studied at Villanova University. Bello developed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello as well as Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. In November 2013, she wrote about having a sexual relationship with her then-partner, Clare Munn. The book she wrote was published, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Unpacking the Labels We Give to Ourself, (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
