Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 was an American actress. She also works as a producer and director. Her most prominent character is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The show ended on August 13, 2012, following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
